Swedish Sweets Wholesale was founded by Jesper, who grew up in Sweden with lördagsgodis — the beloved "Saturday candy" tradition where every Swedish kid fills a bag from the pick & mix wall once a week. After years of exporting candy from Sweden to businesses abroad, he started working directly with American retailers — and saw the same problem everywhere.
Importing Swedish candy to the U.S. is complicated, expensive, and unpredictable — especially for smaller orders. High international shipping costs, long delivery times, brokerage fees that can reach hundreds of dollars per shipment, plus surprise customs duties and tariffs. What should be simple becomes a major operational burden for a small business.
